January's spotlight is local young entrepreneur, Connie Pearson-Bernard. President and Founder of Seamless Events Incorporated, Connie has years of experience as a professional event planner and association executive director. She began her event planning profession early on, assisting many chapter associations with branding and planning and executing jam-packed, seamless events.
Seamless Events is a full service association and event management company that takes pride in detailed, thorough planning and "seamless" executions. From association events to conferences to prestigious award dinners, Seamless Events specializes in planning all types of events. Clients of Seamless Events have included Microsoft, Comcast and Careers Express.
Prior to founding Seamless Events, Connie held several positions in the corporate world, most recently serving in Relationship Marketing for the entire US Business Marketing Group for Spherion at Microsoft Corporation.

Philadelphia not only offers a place of many businesses, but, a welcoming city with a variety of restaurants, entertainment, historical landmarks and so much more. There is always something to do in Philadelphia, which gives for great conversation with others.
Your favorite thing about working in the Philadelphia Region:
As a small business owner, I find the Philadelphia region gives my company numerous opportunities, allows for convenience, and encourages personal and business growth. I always describe the Philadelphia area to others in one word – dynamic. The area has so much potential for continuing its growth – that I enjoy being a part of this city's "drive and determination."

Owning a business in Philadelphia, to our company, means growing a successful business by utilizing the city's many opportunities. As a young business owner/professional, I find it encouraging knowing my company is rapidly growing with the continuous development of the Philadelphia region. We are always reading about what new innovations, attractions, additions and so forth that are developing in Philadelphia - this news also offers encouragement for my business's future success.
Seamless Events evaluates the type of planning needed to make an association or event a seamless success. They also offer additional services such as agenda development, contract negotiations, strategic management, speech writing and more.
Connie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She graduated with the honor of Magna Cum Laude and was recognized as one of the most active leaders in the Communication Studies Department.
