Spotlight on Creativity and Young Professional
October's Spotlight on Creativity is local, young professional entrepreneur Monica Walker Miraglilo. Monica fills the shoes of model, wife, mother and entrepreneur on a daily basis. With years of modeling experience gracing television sets as a model on QVC, Monica has an amazing sense of style. But it was her passion for home décor that drove her to open Fill a Pillow, a design studio where customers design pillows—from the fabric, to the shape, to the detailing—and allow the seamstress to do the dirty work.
Featured in Main Line Today's Best of the Main Line, Fill a Pillow is praised for the impressive turn around time in producing pillow creations. Monica says that she wanted to own her pillow business so that she could help others express their creativity in home décor.
