SOC Codes

Occupations Most Relevant and Critical to Life Sciences

From a list of all occupations employed in the life science industry in the DVIN region, DVIN selected a subset of 88 life science related occupations for the focus of its research, talent development and regional collaboration purpose. The Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system is used to classify workers into occupational categories for the purpose of collecting, calculating, or disseminating data. The SOC codes are listed in this table are the occupational codes that fall within the DVIN definition of life science: biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical devices, medical equipment, research and development for the DV0IN region.
