The New Era of Innovation

A thriving 21st century global economy will be one where innovation determine the leader, and where the region with the most educated and skilled workers will achieve the greatest prosperity. Philadelphia’s skilled professionals and their collective creativity and innovation are the keys to Philadelphia’s economic success.

A New Agenda

Our initiatives embrace this new era of innovation through programs focused on emerging industries designed to drive Philadelphia’s economic growth.

  • Delivering entrepreneurial assistance
  • Forming the Creative Economy Leadership Council
  • Hosting and sponsoring events and conferences regionally, nationally and internationally

  • Attracting and retaining young professionals
  • Connect young professionals to job opportunities through career fairs and networking events
  • Promote regional assets and resources appealing to young professionals
  • Celebrating and showcase young professional leaders and hosting the Young Professional Consortium

New Idea Generation

We are committed to developing some of the innovative and important new ideas that will define the future of Philadelphia by:

  • Hosting Innovation Forums to explore new ideas and issues that will impact regional growth
  • Moderating a blog which generates discussion around regional topics
  • Distributing an electronic newsletter that provides readers with information as well as solicits new ideas and responses
