The Insider: Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise Conference to Spotlight Philadelphia's IT Community

This spring the Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise Conference will allow entrepreneurs and professionals to share valuable insights and ideas with others in the Philadelphia Region. The conference will host world-class speakers who will cover a broad range of Information Technology-related topics.

The annual Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise Conference, sponsored by Chariot Solutions, will attract software developers and IT executives alike by hosting an array of talks and sessions that focuses on technology and its applications in the business world.

With Philadelphia as the base for this annual regional conference, Tracey Welson-Rossman, Founder and Chair of Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise Conference, explains that they created a “go-to East Coast conference center in Philly which highlights our community and also brings world renowned speakers to our area.” From March 26 -27, 2009, the Marriott West (1201 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA) will draw an audience from far and wide to showcase Philadelphia's IT community and talent.

Innovation Philadelphia spotlights regional creative industry entrepreneurs and young professionals making an impact on the Philadelphia Region, or innovative initiatives that showcase the tremendous innovative and creative talent driving Philadelphia's economy.

March's Spotlight is on Tracey Welson-Rossman, Director of Sales and Marketing for Chariot Solutions, a Philadelphia-based technology consulting firm that specializes in Java and open source software development. As a founding member of Chariot Solutions, Tracey has created and implemented the branding and marketing strategy for the company, helping it grow from 10 employees in 2002 to more than 50 to date. She is also heavily involved in the strategic planning process as a member of Chariot's executive team.

Deadline Approaching for DreamIt Ventures Summer Program

DreamIt Ventures

DreamIt Ventures is searching for bright, energetic people with great ideas. If you have a great idea and want to build a great company submit an Innovator Application. If they like your idea, you will be invited to participate in DreamIt, a 3-month program. During that time you will receive seed funding, mentoring, education and finally on Funding Day, a chance to present to VCs, private investors and other funding sources.
